Saturday once a month
A 12 Month program designed to create a positive, uplifting and educational outlet for adolescents between the ages 13-18 years, dealing with everyday challenges. The program runs from January thru December.
Our goal is to facilitate empowerment, healing, wholeness and increased opportunities for success. The Program will be instrumental in helping participants understand the importance of decision-making from a female perspective, including how social norms and expectations influence (negatively and positively) the decision-making process. We will delve into education and success are intertwined and the ways in which self-esteem, relationships and social media can impact our emotional, physical and social behaviors.
The program will be facilitated by Mrs. Danielle A. Rice. Mrs. Rice holds a Master’s of science degree in human services and a Master’s of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. As a longtime resident of the Monterey Peninsula, she has dedicated her adult life to the community service and the well-being of the citizens that make up our diverse communities. She is the co-founder and program director of “Brand New Teens” an empowerment organization dedicated to adolescent girls, located in Seaside, California. Mrs. Rice is also in the final stages of achieving her goals of becoming a licensed clinical therapist and doctor of clinical psychology.
